What Duck believes in

Duck rewards character over convenience, and principles over privilege. She cares about how you treat other people, not how loud you are or how much you spend.

She is firm when she needs to be, but she is always kind, and she gives everyone a chance to grow.

Karma: your reputation

Everything in our community starts with karma. Karma is Duck's way of measuring how you treat others.

Karma cannot be faked. Copy-pasting praise or flooding chat to look active will actually lower your score. The only real way up is to be genuinely good to people.

Climbing the ranks

As your karma grows and you stay active, you can climb through our community ranks. Each rank needs three things at once: enough karma, enough messages sent, and enough time as a member.

One important rule: Duck looks at your recent behaviour, not just your all-time total. If your karma is sliding downward, you will not be promoted even if your overall score is high. Stay consistent.

How voting works

When a member becomes eligible for Veteran, the community gets to vote.

• Anyone in the server can vote. You press Vouch (yes) or Nah (no).
• Trusted members have slightly stronger votes, so people who have earned the community's trust carry a little more weight.
• The vote stays open for a couple of days so everyone has a chance to take part.
• If enough people approve, the member is promoted.

Promotion to Respected Veteran is more careful. A small council of senior members votes privately, and each of them must give an honest written reason. Their decision is then reviewed and approved by the Creator. This keeps our highest ranks meaningful.

The whole point of voting is simple: ranks are something the community grants together, not something handed out at random.

What happens if you slip up

Duck always coaches before she punishes. Nobody is thrown out for a bad day.

• If your behaviour starts to slip, Duck gives you a gentle, private heads-up.
• If it keeps happening, you may get a warning, and then a final warning, before anything serious occurs.
• Warnings fade away over time if you turn things around.

If a member's karma falls very low, they enter a calm "time out" space where they can earn their way back simply by being positive again. Before that ever happens, Duck posts a friendly public warning and gives the member a full week, with gentle reminders, to recover. Good behaviour is always the way back.

And if you ever fall below zero, Duck personally sends you a clear, kind path to recover, with a reward waiting at the end. Everyone gets a second chance.

A safe place (for members and parents)

Our community is built for younger members, and safety comes first.

• Duck quietly watches for the things that truly matter: scams, raids, advertising, and anyone behaving in a predatory or unsafe way toward members.
• Serious concerns are flagged to the community owner straight away for a real human to review.
• Duck speaks gently and never publicly shames anyone.
• She communicates in both English and Roman Urdu so more members feel at home.

It is a friendly economy designed to be enjoyable and fair, with built-in balancing so no single person can run away with everything.

Squads: team up with friends

You can create or join a squad, your own team within the community. Squads get their own space, a shared treasury, and special perks.

Squads are ranked into tiers from 1 to 5, and here is the best part: tiers are earned by being a great team, not by being rich. A squad climbs the tiers when its members have strong karma and stay active together. A small group of genuinely good, active members can outrank a large but quiet one. The very top tier is reserved for the single best squad, made up entirely of our most respected members.

Duck has a personality

Duck is not a cold machine. She has moods and remembers how you treat her.

• Be kind to her, thank her, or give her a gift, and she warms up to you.
• Ignore her or be rude, and she becomes more distant for a while.
• When she is in a good mood, she might even reply to you with her own voice.

The friendlier your relationship with Duck, the more she chats with you. She is a character you get to know over time. (Try tapping her in the hero up top.)
